Park Long Range Plan 

   Recreation Rules

 

            RULES FOR RECREATION AREAS  - Adopted in 1999

 

Use of the community recreation areas and facilities is restricted to association members and their house guests.  This restriction prohibits the use of the community recreation areas and facilities by any club, fraternal, civic, religious or political organization or group.

 

1.       All adult residents are responsible for the enforcement of the following rules.  Violators will be asked to leave the recreation area when appropriate, parents will be notified.  It shall be the responsibility of the parents to assure that their children and young adults are familiar with these rules.

2.       All young children must be supervised. Children without proper supervision will be asked to leave.

3.       No pushing, running or rough housing on the floats or beach areas.  Football, soccer, baseball, Frisbee and other similar sports activities shall only be allowed on the Ball Field and the Tot Lot.

4.       Since there is NO lifeguard, parents are responsible for their children’s safety in the water and on the beach areas.

5.       No inner tubes or air mattresses shall be allowed inside the enclosed swimming area at Christopher Park.

6.       NO DOGS are allowed in any of the Community Recreation Areas.

7.       No motorized vehicles or bicycles shall be ridden on the grassy areas of the parks.

8.       Each resident is responsible for cleaning up after use of the Recreation Areas.

9.       No open fires.

10.   No glass objects shall be allowed on the beach areas, docks or floats.

11.   No climbing fences.

12.   No fishing is permitted while swimmers are utilizing the area.

13.   Radios, tape players, or other electronic audio equipment shall be limited to a low volume where no park users or residents object.

14.   The parks shall be available for use from dawn to dusk.

15.   Everyone must have an I.D. badge or they will be asked to leave the recreation areas.  Tags are not to be lent or sold to anyone.  There is a $1.00 charge to replace each lost tag.  Residents are responsible for all I.D. tag numbers assigned to their family.  Guests and replacement tags can be obtained from the bookkeeper.
