West Side Park is a more intimate setting than Christopher Park. The park provides swimming, fishing, a small picnic table, a playground area, and water slide. West Side Park, as with all recreation in our community, is exclusive to Ken Lake residents and guests. A
Ken Lake badge must be worn when in the park.
The swimming area is accessible by sandy beach and the dock. There are three floats located out of the designated swimming area for advanced swimmers. Please practice safe swimming, there is no lifeguard.
Fishing, within season, is permitted from the dock, from the shore or from a boat. Fishing is exclusive to residents and guests. Guests must be accompanied by their host at all times.
Residents may apply to the Lakemoor Community Club for permission to leave a boat in the park. Boats left in the park must be registered with the Community Club and display a LCC number.
The park, playground and boat storage facilities are maintained by volunteers. Residents are encouraged to report park issues to Jim Nieland, Ken Lake Park Manager at 360.431.4581 .
